The Dynamics of
CONCRESCENTISM
The Approach and the Process
9
Harmonization of Opposites in a Fluid Dynamic
At this stage there is another process open to us. We now
have the ability to subject our shapes, designs, or objects to what we’ll call
modulation. With some practice this is no harder to do than any other type of
mental visualization. If it seems hard at first it’s simply because its
unfamiliar. In practice it’s quite easy to do once one gets used to it. The task
is simply this to mentally pass a waveform through our pattern, shape, or object
and note what types of distortions arise or what or the ways in which they are
altered. It can be of immense use to play with a three dimensional design
program to acclimatize yourself to thinking in this fashion. The skill is
invaluable. The major advantage provided is distortion of a surface or form.
