Application of Cross-Disciplinary Processes
This is a reference in which
processes and techniques are liberally borrowed from other branches of the
arts and used in a cross-disciplinary application. There are techniques used
in one branch of the arts that can be effectively used to manipulate or work
with materials and elements in another. Because of dissimilarities in other
disciplines, a cross application can introduce novel operations. For
instance, there are a number of ways that a musical motive can be treated
when composing a piece of music it can be subjected to a series of various
manipulations. For instance we may borrow musical procedures and apply them
